National Regional acts within the last 3 years include:
Otis Day and the Knights – of “Animal house” fame.
Unified tribe- Several appearances on Late night Variety Shows including Arsinio Hall
Colin Hay-Lead singer from “Men at Work” and critically acclaimed Solo recording artist.
Dream Catcha- New band on west coast tour of US, well known in Australian Market now breaking into US market.
Maktub- Critically acclaimed regional band. Signed to Velour Records. ACS-Hard rotation regional act, which has opened for such rock & roll pipe bombs like Weezer, Andrew W.K., Sugar Ray, American Hi-Fi, Girls Against Boys, and Everclear.
Local Talent contest:
Produced, developed, and invented by Gordon Sound for Whaling Days as a Family Sunday Headliner. Sundays had been typically problematic as far as audience attendance in the past. With the development of Northwest Superstar, a vocal contest, Sundays afternoons the main stage has attendance well into 2000 persons during the 2.5 hour contest.

Whaling days has the finest family educational and fun acts available. The Family stage also incorporates local acts from service clubs, dance studios and martial arts studios.

Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth-
Each year Buck & Elizabeth are regulars at numerous schools and festivals. Buck is the Former manager, singer and songwriter for the "New Christy Minstrels". Their highly acclaimed Education Through Entertainment shows offer a variety of positive, upbeat messages with such themes as safety, self esteem, respect, teamwork, environment, as well as history. Their songs and skits, which will brighten up the day of educators and students, create enthusiastic audience participation through song and dance, hand movements and laughter--education through entertainment
Kevin Wolfe presents:
Kevin Wolf is an amazing entertainer who has performed with David Copperfield, and has had his own television special on the discovery channel and has interviews on CNN. He has been performing for over 20 years at various Fairs, Festivals and Schools. Kevin Is an Advanced Certified Hypnotherapist, Pediatric Hypnotherapist and an Emergency Hypnosis Instructor. Kevin offers an Amazing Magic show, The Unexpected Magic of Kevin Wolfe, and an ever popular hypnosis show called The Power of Hypnosis.
Greg Bennick
Greg Bennick combines juggling, comedy, high energy, audience participation, and astounding theatrics into every show. Since 1982 and from coast to coast, Greg has been a crowd favorite.
JP Patches and Stan Boreson
Although due to audience sizes we have had to move them to the main stage. These two performers are Northwest legends. The Emmy winning J.P. Patches Show aired for 23 years on KIRO TV and at one time had a viewer ship of over 100,000. When it left the air in 1981, it was the longest running, locally produced children's program in the country. JP is still a favorite of Northwest baby boomers and Generation X. Stan Boreson, "King of Scandinavian Humor" and veteran Northwest entertainer is celebrating his 45th year in show business. A successful entertainer from the onset, Stan appeared for 18 years on several Seattle television shows including his longest running and most successful "Kings Klubhouse."
